<p>A special welcome to everyone currently attending Alex Mandossian&#8217;s Teleseminar Secret&#8217;s course. I was a student in Teleseminar Secrets for the first time two years ago, and this is how I originally connected with him. This training changed my online business and marketing knowledge forever, so you are definitely in the right place at the right time. I have gone on to become an affiliate for Alex, and now a partner, just as he teaches in his trainings.</p>
<p>Alex challenged me to double my list back on October 15, 2008. It was during my &#8216;limo consult&#8217; with him, where we discussed how I could take my business to the next level. When I told Alex that I had 652 people on my list, he insisted that I take action to increase that number dramatically. We agreed that I would work on growing my list to at least one thousand names by the end of October, and to double my list, taking it past 1,300 names, as quickly after that as possible. I had my work cut out for me.</p>
<p>The first thing I did was to send an email to my list, asking them to refer anyone they knew who would benefit from what I teach online. Over the next few days many more people joined my list. I was amazed at how easy it was to reach out to my current subscribers and ask for their help. I learned a huge lesson from this; people really do want to help us to achieve our goals &#8211; you just need to ask them.</p>
<p>The second action I took was to create an event over at Facebook. At the time I had about 4,000 friends there, so now I was ready to invite them to a teleseminar training. I chose the topic of affiliate marketing because it is an area I have expereince with and that is of great interest to people building an internet business. I required them to join my list before they would receive the details of the teleseminar training. Many of my Facebook friends opted in to my list in order to be a part of that call.</p>
<p>The third action I implemented was to visit two forums that I had been a part of during the previous few months. Forums, both free and paid, are an excellent way to connect with people who share similar interests with you. They can work like an informal mastermind, allowing you to bounce ideas off of one another. When I told the people in these forums about my challenge with Alex, they were happy to be a part of what I was doing. Within 24 hours they began to tell others about me and what I was doing in my online business. More and more people found me and joined my list.</p>
<p>Within ten days of when I began this challenge my list had <span id="more-170"></span>reached 1,000. I knew that if I continued to move forward I would easily be able to double my list by the end of the month. I then went over to Twitter, where I had about a thousand followers at that time, and tweeted my story 140 characters at a time. People become involved in the conversation and my list continued to grow. I shared my results with my list, including them in the process every step of the way.</p>
<p>On October 25, just 10 days after speaking with Alex and taking on this challenge, I reached 1,304 &#8211; exactly double what I had started with. I continued to work on building my list and connecting with those who were already a part of my list.</p>
<p>I am now a list relationship coach, helping others to build a solid relationship with the people who have entrusted us to teach and guide them on the internet by giving us their name and email address. <p>This was a great idea, because many people signed up through me in order to receive this additional training. I have since done this by offering one on one consultations, previous courses I have taught, and links to my trainings archived in my membership sites. The trainings you do can also become a new product you can sell later on.</p>
<p>Take a look at what <span id="more-147"></span>you can offer those who purchase through your links. Be creative with this. People on your list will be more than happy to tell you what they want and need from you.</p>

<p>With your list, tell them about this concept and offer them the opportunity to become a joint venture partner as soon as they are ready. It will not matter what niche they are in, and the results are completely up to you. Form these strategic alliances <span id="more-115"></span>early on with the people who have trusted you to send them regular information on your topic. You may be pleasantly surprised by the results.</p>

<p>I can remember the first internet contest I was ever involved with. It was the winter of 2008, nearly two years ago now, and Alex Mandossian was holding a contest for his affiliates. I was already a raving fan, so the idea of letting my list know about his programs was a simple decision for me. What I did not expect, because I was so new online and my list was so small, was to tie for 12th place with Christina Hills! I won several prizes, including a cash prize, and from then on I was hooked on the idea of contests.</p>
<p>You can hold contests for your list. Be creative with this, and ask them to comment on your blog or answer a trivia question. You will be amazed at the response you will receive when you simply ask people to respond and join you for a contest. The prize y0u offer can be <span id="more-112"></span>anything from a digital eBook or report to a physical gift that can be mailed to their home. A cash prize is also greatly appreciated.</p>
<p>The most important thing here is to get your prospects involved and leave them with a good feeling. Announce the results to your list so that everyone can be included in the outcome. People still remember when I was a winner in Alex&#8217;s contest, because he sent an email to his list and I blogged about it.</p>
