Video Marketing To Reach New Prospects On Your List

Even if someone has been on your list for quite awhile, they may not be a prospect. The reason I am saying this is that we all join lists to get the free giveaway or because we were interested at the time we signed up, but now we just don’t care as much.

If there are people on your list who fall into this category, and I know there are, then you must get their attention. Videos are an excelllent technique to get people to sit up and take notice. Video has never been easier, so there is no reason to not include this as part of your list marketing strategy.

Publish Articles Written By Your List

Connecting with the people on your list in order to build trust and rapport should always be a priority. One way I have done this is to ask them for articles they have written to use for some of my blogs.

I started several blogs back in 2005 and 2006. They were on a variety of topics, including dog training, reinventing your life with passion, and one on health and fitness. Over time I lost interest in writing regularly for these blogs, but I didn’t want to close them down.

Video Marketing – Let Your Message Be Seen And Heard

Video marketing has taken off like a rocket in the past two years. Your prospects can see and hear your message, making it even more likely that they will remember you. It has never been easier to make your own videos and upload them to a web site for easy viewing by others.

This is a video I created using Camtasia. It shows a site that I am promoting for a course I will be teaching in August. It’s only about 90 seconds long and allows me to get my message across very simply. This is only my second video, so the editing is not perfect, but you can hear what it is about and make your own decision about how it will help you to achieve your goals.

These videos can also be included in an email message. Communicate your message in a video and watch your prospects reach out to connect with you more readily.
