Teleseminars To Build Your Online Business

I still believe that teleseminars are the best way to connect with your audience. I just took a 16 hour flight from Los Angeles to Helsinki, and listening to teleseminars given by some of my colleagues helped to pass the time. I could not have watched a webinar this way. I closed my eyes and listened to training that will make me more effective in my own business. At home I do this while I’m out walking or driving somewhere.

My recommendation is to give a free, one hour teleseminar each week to answer questions on your topic and to build credibility with your target market. I did this for the first 18 months I was in business, and continue to do it at least once a month. Even on a free call I am likely to make a thousand dollars or more, so don’t let the word ‘free’ stop you. The service I use to host my teleseminars is the industry standard, and you can start out with a 21 day trial to see if this business model is for you.

Make Money Quickly By Hosting Your Own Teleseminars

Your voice is extremely powerful. When you allow your prospects to hear you speak, you transform from a one dimensional figure on the Internet into a multi-dimensional person they can relate to on a personal level. It is the next best thing to being there in person. Teleseminars make it possible for you to do this as a regular part of your business model.

Teleseminars have been the most effective part of my marketing strategy. When I think back over the past few years, I can honestly say that deciding to give regular teleseminars as part of my online business has made it possible for me to increase my income each month and to connect with more prospects and clients than I ever thought possible. I now hold teleseminars and webinars several hours each week. In fact, many of my products are completely made up of just teleseminars.

Webinars require more technology, as well as requiring your audience to be glued to their computer screen. Most of us would prefer to download an audio file and listen to it through our computer or mp3 player. If I can avoid it, I always prefer to hold a teleseminar instead of a webinar so that more people will hear what I have to say.

You can easily use teleseminars to create information

How Will You Connect With Your Prospects Online?

When we work exclusively online, there is not much opportunity to connect with our prospects and clients in the same way as we would if we were meeting with them regularly in person. That is why it is so important to do whatever we can to make that connection with the people we want to do business with.

Have you ever known someone who got contact lenses after years of wearing thick glasses? Or how about someone who wore braces for a few years and suddenly had them removed? Remember how different they looked for the first few times you saw them? It is the same thing on the Internet; people get used to only receiving our emails and reading our blogs. As soon as you meet them in person, your relationship completely changes.

The best way I have found to make this connection on a regular basis is by holding teleseminars and inviting my prospects and clients to attend. By hearing my voice they are able to see me in a completely different light. It works the same way in reverse; when I hear them I feel like I know them more intimately.

Teleseminars are the next best thing to meeting people in person. It rounds us out and gives us a multi-dimensional quality that is just not possible through emails and blogs. Video and webinars also work well for this, but holding regular calls is the fastest and easiest way to connect with our audience. Take a closer look at your online business. You may just find that this is the perfect solution to building your business and increasing your bottom line.

Use Teleseminars To Meet Your Prospects

Holding a weekly teleseminar allows you to meet the people on your list. There is not enough room in an email to tell people more about who you are, and you will never meet everyone at live events. Being able to speak with them on a call is the next best thing to meeting them in person.

This started for me back in 2006. I would hold teleseminars with very few people in attendance. This gave me the opportunity to find out more about them and to find out how to best serve their needs. Over time, as my list grew and attendance increased, many of those original people would still attend my teleseminars. I was learning how to reach out to people in the virtual world.

I encourage you to hold regular

Add Value To What You Promote To Your List

I actually figured out this technique purely by accident. I was promoting Alex Mandossian’s Teleseminar Secrets course two years ago, and someone on my list wrote to me to ask if I would be holding a teleseminar to help people implement what Alex would be teaching. I responded by announcing my 6 week teleseminar training for everyone who signed up through my link.

This was a great idea, because many people signed up through me in order to receive this additional training. I have since done this by offering one on one consultations, previous courses I have taught, and links to my trainings archived in my membership sites. The trainings you do can also become a new product you can sell later on.

Open Yourself Up For Interviews

The power of your voice is great. When people hear you speaking about your topic they are able to tell right away if they want to do business with you. Give your prospects as many opportunities as possible to hear you speak. One way to do this is to have others interview you.

When I was just starting online there was no one who was interested in interviewing me. I asked people who

Allow Your Prospects To ‘Ask You Anything’

More than anything else, your prospects want to be able to connect with you directly. The best way to do this is to hold regular teleseminars where they can ask you anything. I even own the domain, AskConnieAnything.com, so that my calls are easy for people to find.

I started doing this in 2007. On one of my early calls someone asked me if I had a

Create A Teleseminar Workshop To Share What You Know

You can plan a teleseminar where you can teach others what you are learning. I first did this in 2006, when I taught people what I knew about blogging and article marketing. Even though I wasn’t an expert in either area, I had learned enough to share my knowledge with others who were just getting started.

What could you teach or explain to others? When I was teaching, I always had my students teach each other the concepts I had just taught them. This reinforces your knowledge and is extremely helpful to those who know even less than you do. You can then recommend the resources and the people whose programs you are learning from, giving your affiliate link.
