Connecting With Private Label Rights Content
PLR, the acronym for private label rights, may seem like the last thing that could be used to connect with your target audience. After all, someone else wrote this material, so how could it possibly be used to build your online business.
The answer lies in the quality of the PLR you purchase. Because private label rights content is so inexpensive, many people buy just anything they come across. I do not recommend this. If you buy from sites you are not familiar with, you will end up with lots of writing that is of a very poor quality. Instead, go with one of the two private label rights sites that I buy from regularly.
One is Ronnie Nijmeh’s site. He has excellent content and I even have some of it for sale as stand alone products. The other is the PLR from Nicole Dean’s site. You can’t go wrong with these two sites, and you will find material that can be repurposed into a multitude of profitable ways. Yes, I’m an affiliate, and I am proud to recommend these two talented people as part of your online success team.
Choosing Affiliate Products To Recommend
Choosing the right affiliate programs to promote to your list is something that will take time and thought. I like to think of my recommendations as ones that will be worth the money I am asking someone to spend. When I am deciding which products and services to promote I think about the person who is offering them, what my prospects want and need, and how the product or service fits in with what I have to offer.
I only promote what I have used and benefitted from. I think of this as recommending what I love, and it works out very well for everyone involved. Take a close look at what you have purchased over the past year or so, and then ask yourself which products, services, and people you would be proud to recommend to people you care about. Then become an affiliate for that person and get your affiliate links in place.
Whatever you promote must be a good match for your market. It will not make any sense at all to recommend something that someone could not use or benefit from. You know why your prospects came to you in the first place, so provide them with things that are a good match for what they want and need.
As you begin to create your own products and services it will become easier to decide what you will promote that belongs to someone else and what you will do yourself. I love the idea of making a product that is complimentary to what someone else has to offer. This way I can earn income from my own sales as well as what people purchase through my affiliate link.
Make Money Quickly By Hosting Your Own Teleseminars
Your voice is extremely powerful. When you allow your prospects to hear you speak, you transform from a one dimensional figure on the Internet into a multi-dimensional person they can relate to on a personal level. It is the next best thing to being there in person. Teleseminars make it possible for you to do this as a regular part of your business model.
Teleseminars have been the most effective part of my marketing strategy. When I think back over the past few years, I can honestly say that deciding to give regular teleseminars as part of my online business has made it possible for me to increase my income each month and to connect with more prospects and clients than I ever thought possible. I now hold teleseminars and webinars several hours each week. In fact, many of my products are completely made up of just teleseminars.
Webinars require more technology, as well as requiring your audience to be glued to their computer screen. Most of us would prefer to download an audio file and listen to it through our computer or mp3 player. If I can avoid it, I always prefer to hold a teleseminar instead of a webinar so that more people will hear what I have to say.
You can easily use teleseminars to create information
Webinar Trainings To Connect With Your Prospects
Are you looking for a way to feel closer to your people, without actually being there in person? Webinars are an excellent way to connect with your prospects and clients. This type of technology allows you at show your screen while you are teaching and presenting. This is an intimate setting that allows you to share an experience with your prospects and clients. No matter if you are teaching a course and need to show the exact methods you use, or if you are preparing a PowerPoint presentation, this will work well for you. Remember to think about the audience you are presenting to, the way you will package your webinar as a product in the future, and how you will follow up with your prospects after the training is over.
Your audience will determine the level of expertise you will want to share. Someone who is in the beginning stages of your topic will need for you to go more slowly so they will see each step. Find out in advance if they have additional questions you may not have thought of. This will make it a better experience for everyone involved, and also ensure that people come to you for this topic in the future.
Always think about what you will do with your webinar recording once it is completed. You may decide to add it to a membership site, use it as a free giveaway on an optin page, or use it as part of a home study package you can use for months or even years to come.
After the webinar training is over,
Is Outsourcing A Part Of Your Online Business Model?
Have You Created A Profit Pulling E-Course?
E-courses are simply a series of messages that make up a mini-course on a particular niche topic. They can be delivered through your autoresponder sequence, and will help to connect you and your message with your prospects. I created my first e-course in 2007, and have now found them to be an excellent way to generate income. When writing one for your niche remember to keep the topic as narrow as possible, include a link to the entire course in the second or third lesson, and add your own or affiliate links to the bottom of each lesson.
Keeping your topic narrow will enable you to give detailed information in your e-course. For example, instead of writing about online marketing, write about copywriting and sales letters. Instead of writing about time management, write about managing your time if you work from home. This means that your prospects will learn more about the area that you are most knowledgeable in.
Beginning with the second lesson, you will want to provide a link to your entire e-course in each lesson. I learned this the hard way, when people began contacting me to receive a missing lesson they had not received or could not find in their email. Even though they can download the
What Happens When Your Prospects Hit ‘Reply’?
Responding to the emails of your prospects will help you to build your business more quickly. I can remember when people first began to ask me questions by responding to my broadcast and autoresponder emails. Sometimes they thought I had written to them personally, and I took that as a great compliment. Over time I began to build relationships with the people on my list, and it all started with me answering their emails with answers to their questions.
Make sure the email address you use in your autoresponder sequence is a current one. You will not want to miss anything that is sent to you. This is done when you first set up your autoresponder, and can be changed if you need to later on.
You may want to initiate the contact with your list. Ask them what they think about something you have written to them about. Because the overwhelming majority of marketers do not respond to emails, you will set yourself apart very quickly.
You may already be thinking that this business model will not be scalable as you become more successful in your online business, but I have been answering all of my own emails for four years now and still do not find it to be too difficult. People are amazed when I answer their questions so quickly, and when I am busy I will write back to tell them I will answer their question the following day. I have found this to be a wonderful way to find out exactly what my prospects and clients want from me, as well as a way to get to know them much better.
Affiliate Marketing Profits – Teach Someone Else’s Program
A marketing strategy that I started last year is now becoming quite popular with many of my coaching students. It is one where you teach someone else’s program in return for your affiliate commission. I began doing this with the Incubator, an Internet marketing membership site created by Dr. Jeanette Cates. This is a 12 module program, and I offered to hold a webinar once a week for 12 weeks for those who signed up through me.
Here we are, almost a year later, and I still hold a webinar every week for this group. Some people have left and many more have joined during this time. It is an excellent way to build your community while serving those who need additional help.
Take a look at what you are promoting as an affiliate. Is there a program you could offer to supplement the training that is already provided? You perspective will be different, and your community will get to know you better when you offer this service in the form of weekly or monthly trainings.
Secrets of Success With A Small List
I am asked regularly how I am able to do so well with my Internet business when my list is just over three thousand names. That is tiny compared to what most marketers are working with. I was able to reach a 6 figure income before I had even a thousand names on my list. I believe my secret is that I truly connect with the people who have come to me to learn how to build an online business.
I answer their emails, provide regular teleseminars where I answer all questions, and create courses and products that help them to succeed. Just like when I was a classroom teacher, I take the responsibility for making sure each student has the tools they need to achieve their goals.
What is your experience with teachers and mentors online? Do people answer your emails and provide you with what you need to learn? Comment here and I will respond.
